 In this special edition of captain's log, i wanna share with everyone something i came up with while workin as a beach patrol lifeguard. It's just some stuff that i noticed while working there which i have come to start calling the "Sentosa Beach Culture."
So far i have come up with 5 Beach Culture lessons.
Sentosa Beach Culture Lesson 1. Bikinis. If you dare to wear, then dare to bare!
I've seen a few girls who wear bikinis at the beach but wear a spagetti strap or a tank top over it and their reason for this is tht they are too shy to take off. Well I've seen really REALLY fat gals wearing bikinis at the beach and even though tht image is really is nothing much to be desired, i really respect these sort of girls. At least they have the guts to wear it despite their appearance. So if u have the guts to wear it then make sure u flaunt it!
Sentosa Beach Culture Lesson 2. Beach Volleyball. You may take a few falls but no matter what make sure u hit the ball!
Beach volleyball is the most common sport tht one can see at Sentosa. However there is a difference between playing beach volleyball and playing beach volleyball PROPERLY! There are alot of ppl who go around acting like as though they know how to play beach volleyball but play worse then a 12 year old kid.... It's such an embarrassment!
Sentosa Beach Culture Lesson 3. Speedos. Only weirdos wear speedos!
It's either boardshorts or get off the beach! Speedos are reserved for the the privacy of the pool. It's such a turn off to see guys wear speedos at the beach. It just seems so weird! And most of the those who wear speedos are the weirdos! namely china nationals!
Sentosa Beach Culture Lesson 4. Bikini Babes. You have to be slick if you wanna get the chicks ;)
This is a MAJOR understatement but the emphasis is much heavier at the beach becoz number one, the gals are dressed with lesser stuff on and number 2 guys have their ego to keep in check in case they get shot down by a bikini babe. So learn from my fren and keep it cool. If a gal keeps looking yr way, be cool and just be yrself. It's all about self confidence.
Sentosa Beach Culture Lesson 5. Tanning. If you wanna suntan u gotta learn. If u dun listen u gonna get burnt!
Alot of ppl think tht they take off their shirts, lie back on the sand n just let the sun do it's job and they come out looking like a bronze god. They were soooooooo wrong.... I've seen ppl baking in the sun until they looked like a cooked lobster man! Another funny thing is ppl put on sun block but go under the sun n tann.. now.. sun block is supposed to block off the sun rays rite..??? go figure.... I recomend banana boat sun tann lotion!
